How can we fake geolocation on mobile devices?

Dear friends,

As far as I know, if we need to fake Geolocation on mobile devices – in my case the OSs are Android and iOS- we need to use Simulator or we have to root/jailbreak devices. However, rooted/jailbroken devices may prove unstable while testing.

Therefore, could you please help me list some of the applications that do not require root or jailbreak and available on Play Store, AppStore?
